Gilad Meiri is co-founder and CEO of Neura, a company whose artificial intelligence (AI) solution improves people’s lives and increases engagement with mobile apps and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Before founding Neura, Gilad co-founded and headed Spicebox Labs, which creates smart consumer devices.
Previously, Gilad defined strategy as a management consultant at TASC Strategic Consulting. Earlier in his career, he served in the Israeli Defense Forces and served as captain with the military reserve force. Gilad holds an M.B.A. from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, where he co-founded the Social Venture Fund. He also holds dual B.A. degrees in economics and education from Tel Aviv University. Gilad currently holds two patents.
Outside his professional career, Gilad is the author of three outdoors cookbooks.
Amit Hammer is the Chief Operating Officer of Neura. In this role, he is responsible for all Business and R&D operations. Amit has over 20 years of business management and broad technical experience. Before joining Neura Amit was based in the United States, where he led several IoT connectivity businesses for Texas Instruments inc. Prior to that he served as an officer at the R&D department of the intelligence corps of the Israel Defense Forces.
Amit holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and a M.Sc in Bio-Medical Engineering.
Triinu Magi is co-founder and CTO of Neura, a company whose artificial intelligence (AI) solution improves people’s lives and increases engagement with mobile apps and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. She has 20 years of experience in multiple aspects of software development, including data science, software architecture, development, and management. Previously, Triinu led emerging technologies and adaptive fraud detection models at RSA, the security division of EMC. Before that, she designed critical state systems as a system architect and a manager for the Estonian government. She has served as an independent e-voting security analyst for the Estonian government.
Triinu holds two master’s degrees, one in computer science and security from Tallinn Technology University, and another in mathematics from Tallinn University. Triinu is also an inventor who holds nine patents.
Kris Bondi is a seasoned marketing professional with more than 20 years combined international marketing, public relations, crisis communications and journalism experience. As CMO of Neura, Inc, Kris leads the company’s efforts to increase adoption and overall mindshare. Prior to joining Neura, Kris served as Vice President of Global Marketing for Iron.io, a leader in the serverless computing space. Kris’ background includes deep expertise in technology marketing with previous stints at Moka5, TIBCO, Mashery, and Luma Technologies. In addition, among the highlights from 11 years as a freelance journalist, Kris covered Nelson Mandela’s first speech in the United States as a stringer for the Harrisburg Patriot.
Kris holds a BA in communications rhetoric and political science from the University of Pittsburgh.
Ori Shaashua is co-founder and head of product at Neura, a company whose artificial intelligence (AI) solution improves people’s lives while increasing engagement with mobile apps and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
Ori is an innovator and team operator passionate about the interface between people and technology. Ori lives and breathes product inception, development and delivery, a full-stack product maker experienced in design, UX, interaction and branding. Ori spent his career between product designers and data scientists. Previously Ori co-founded Spicebox Labs and has years of experience in medical device development and consumer IoT.
Ori holds a bachelor of design degree from the Politecnico di Milano and Holon Institute of Technology. Ori also holds four patents.
Gil Mahler is co-founder and head of R&D for Neura. He leads the team’s efforts to meet current customer needs as well as plans for future technical solutions. Previously, he co-founded and headed R&D for Spicebox Labs, where he architected software for connected devices. Gil was also the co-founder of Tynics LLC, which created mobile phone solutions. In addition, Gil has served as software architecture and development consultant at Vario. He has also served in the Israeli Directorate of Military Intelligence.
Gil earned a B.S.in computer science from The Academic College of Tel Aviv and an M.B.A. from Tel Aviv University.
