Why the Social Development Goals and Environmental Sustainable Goals are Important to Us at Neura
At Neura, we are committed to using our platform to build the most impactful products and services that can help build a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
One of the ways we pledge to do this is through our commitment to create solutions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Through our work with Pitango, a leading VC firm and one of our closest investors, we established where Neura’s product could most help in accomplishing the Goals set forth. Cecile Blilious, Head of Impact & Sustainability at Pitango, helped us understand where we could strengthen these initiatives and was a huge help as we established our KPIs and sustainability goals for the coming years.
The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs in partnership with the United Nations Member States came up with 17 Sustainable Development Goals that create an outline for global peace and prosperity for the people of the world and the planet at large.
Neura’s Behavioral Intelligence Platform addresses three of these goals directly.
SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
Neura and TripAdvisor joined forces to create the CrowdFree platform that helped reopen the U.S. economy at appropriate times during the COVID-19 pandemic as well as monitor and track impact of changing regulations on human health. Our platform has encouraged millions of consumers to shop safely and help reignite the U.S. economy as well as the U.K. and Israel Economy.
SDG 3: Ensure Healthy Lives and Promote Well-Being for All at All Ages
Neura’s COVID-19 Pandemic Management Platform helped the Israeli Ministry of Health save thousands of lives and save over $100M in fighting the Coronavirus pandemic. Our platform was chosen by the Israeli COVID-19 task force and HMOs to serve as the decision-making tool for PCR test deployment and vacation deployment strategy.
SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
Neura’s Urban Intelligence Solution reduced public transportation commute time into commercial areas in Israel by 45%. This was achieved by fusing behavioral intelligence data, traffic pattern insights, and movement patterns, to create new dedicated routing for public transportation. Neura also worked with a leading OEM manufacturing helping them identify where to place electric vehicle charging stations using key indicators such as frequently visited areas, duration of stay in each location, as well as parameters for optimal city innovation.
